Zahid Maqsood Sheikh is an institutional development expert, author, and columnist with over 30 years of leadership experience across Pakistan's public and private sectors. He is the former CEO of the Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) and a member of the PEMRA Council of Complaints, Punjab, with expertise in governance reforms, institutional transformation, economic development, and international trade promotion. He is the author of “Pakistan at the Crossroads” and “Carving Value: Stone and Mineral Economy of Pakistan.”
At PIVRA he serves as Senior Advisor.
Argues that Punjab's Climate Resilient Vision and Action Plan sets the right direction on water security, agriculture, urban resilience and smog, but that its credibility now depends on institutional capacity, transparency and measurable annual results.
