An investment in Pakistan rests on more than a financial model. The regulatory position of the sector, the record of the counterparty in public filings, the tax and foreign exchange conditions, and the direction of policy all bear on whether the investment performs as planned.

PIVRA prepares due diligence reports from primary sources: SECP company records and filings, regulator orders and licences, court records where public, gazette notifications, budget documents and Urdu-language material. We work alongside your legal and financial advisers and focus on the questions that public-record research can answer reliably.

  • Regulatory and licensing position of the sector and, where public, of the target
  • Public-record review of the counterparty: SECP filings, regulator actions and reported disputes
  • Tax, foreign exchange and repatriation conditions that apply to the structure
  • Policy and political-economy risks, including pending changes

Questions

How long does a due diligence report take?

Most reports are delivered in two to four weeks, depending on the number of questions and the depth of counterparty research required. Urgent timelines can be quoted on request.

Do you replace legal and financial due diligence?

No. We cover the sector, regulatory, public-record and policy questions. Legal title, contracts and accounts remain with your lawyers and auditors, and our findings are written to sit alongside theirs.
